ABOUT ME
I received my esthetician license in 2000 with one goal in mind...to clear up my problem skin. As someone who has always struggled with sensitive, acneic skin, I understand the frustration and stigma that comes with it. I spent years learning everything I could about acne and its triggers. One thing stood out and that was the importance of good skin care habits. You can use the most expensive products in the world, but unless you have good skin care habits, even the best acne fighting ingredients are not going to help. Oh, they may work for a little while, but eventually your skin will adjust and the breakouts will return. Ask anyone with a medicine cabinet full of half-empty bottles of acne products.

During our first meeting, I spend time getting to know you. What are your interests, what is your activity level, what did you like or dislike about your last esthetic experience, what are you currently using for your skin care regime, what are your skin care goals? All of these things help me to understand your unique needs and how best to tailor your treatments. I consider myself to be more of a skin care coach than an esthetician. Sure, I could do the steam, cleanse, extraction, mask, sunscreen routine and send you home, but my goal is always to help you to care for your skin when after you leave me. After all, you are only with me for a short time. What you do at home is a huge part in helping you to reach your goals.
